FAQ
Do you Provide Bar Vessels for Events?
It is preferred that your venue has a bar vessel or station for use or that one is rented. I do, however, have some simple portable vessel options that I can offer at an additional cost.
Is Ice included in your packages?
No, I have coolers to move and keep the ice behind the bar, however storage and purchase must be provided by either venue or client.
Can we reimburse you for the Booze?
I provide a detailed shopping list to allow guidance on your purchase of the alcohol. I cannot purchase or ‘resell’ booze to my clients.
Can you provide a no-host bar?
Due to being a mobile bar, I am not granted the ability by the state to hold a liquor license. Therefore, all events must be fully hosted by the client for their guests -meaning that guests are not charged for drinks. I am licensed to serve but not sell alcoholic beverages. If your event is being hosted at a venue that holds their own liquor license and allows for outside vendors for their catering (food and drink) I am more than happy to work with that venue for permission to sell on site for your event.
If we want Mock-Tails only. Can you do that?
Absolutely! Alcohol or not - your guests should have a memorable refreshment!
Can you manage/stock non-alcoholic beverages for us at our event too?
If your non-alcoholic beverages are located near the bar, we can surely keep it stocked for you for peace of mind!
Will you travel out of town for our event?
You bet! Bring it on!
We have a specific theme/guest attire plan. Will you participate in that?
I love to dress up! Throw it at me and I will dress the part!
If I break your glassware, will you charge me?
If there is an accident and few glasses are broke - no stress! There will be a $2.00 charge per glass that is broken that will be billed to you after the event.
Do we have to wash the glassware prior to pick-up?
It would be very much appreciated. All boxes or totes used to transport the glassware will be left on site. Glassware for local events will be picked up the following day at a time that is convenient to you. Out of town events will likely require that I have a place to clean them prior to my departure post-service.
Do you offer taste test appointments?
I sure do! I want to make sure what I serve excites you! Knowing exactly what your guests are consuming will give you all the more peace of mind during your event!
How do you deny service when a guest starts getting too frisky?
I take these situations in a non-abrasive approach. Typically, I will ask that a guest take a break and have some water or a mock-tail instead as well as eat some food prior to serving them anything else. Additionally, I will ask if the guest has someone to drive them and/or if they are staying on sight. It is rare that I have to deny service to guests, but in the instance that I do, please know that I will do it of the utmost respect.
When service is over, what do you do with left-over items?
If there is a substantial amount of left-over ingredients or booze, I am happy to set up a self-serve style bar for your guests to still enjoy if you choose. Otherwise, I will collect all items and place them at a mutually agreed upon location. I will however be taking my bar tools, coolers and any extra equipment that I bring with me upon my departure.
